The Crew

Yes--we are the mechanics of the future. The hope and dreams of tomorrows cars (and CHOPPERS) lie in our hands. So are we done with the pictures yet---lunch is calling. Hey we are young teenagers, lunch is always calling.

Listen up boys!

Today we began routing our wires through the handlebars.
We are going for that less cluttered look. We are trying the Arlen ness controls with push button switches.

Wiring 101

We found some great handlebars for the bike. Now we begin wiring our switches. We are using Arlen Ness radius controls with switch buttons. The wiring is proving to be the biggest challenge. We are learning how to create our own circuits and what all of the various electronic parts do. Wow, this is going to be SWEET!!

Fabrication 101

Our tools may be basic, but the students are fabricating all kinds of parts for the chopper. Boy, that math teacher would be impressed with all of the calculations and measurements that went into making this handlebar clamp. (Hmmm, maybe fractions are not that bad after all.)

Christmas Parade 2008

Here is our float for the VERY cold Christmas parade. Thank you to the Bailey's for all of their help. It was great to see the reaction to the bikes that the kids built.

Buell Thunderbolt

We started with a 1998 Buell Thunderbolt. As we dissassembled it, we contacted the great people at Redneck engineering to help us create the ulimate sport chopper.

Wow, I hope people will notice the color!

Here we are with our freshly rebuilt 1200cc+ engine mounted in the frame. We want to thank Jesse Gonzales and the crew at JACC adult autobody program for the sweet paint job. If you love the color it comes from Auto-Air colors.
